I grew up in Placid, Iowa and attended Mt. Mercy University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies. I have been part of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton staff and family since 2012.
I help foster disciples in our youth and young adults through authentic relationships, ownership of faith, and providing dynamic Christ-centered experiences. Some of the experiences that I help coordinate are service projects around our community, the Catholic Heart Work Camp, Salt & Light Service Retreat, Teen Alpha, Living Your Strengths, bible studies and National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC). I also lead the Youth Ministry Advisory Team (YMAT) and guide them youth to becoming leaders at our parish and in our community.
The best part of my job is seeing youth find joy in their faith and sharing it with their peers. I get to see this happen as I prepare youth for the Sacrament of Confirmation as well as lead young adults in faith sharing groups.
Some of my favorite hobbies include: spending time with family and friends, going to concerts and listening to podcasts.
