We invite you to set out on a pilgrimage with the purpose to study and more deeply understand the evil of racism.
A group of parishioners studied the Pastoral Letter from the U.S. Council of Bishops, "Open Wide Our Hearts: The Enduring Call to Love" and participated in dialogue to find ways to act together to dismantle racial inequality and injustice.
As a follow-up to the study or if you wanted to particinated in the OWOH study but weren't able to, everyone interested is invited to read and join the discussion for "White Awake" by Daniel Hill. This book "calls us to find our deepest sense of identity in Christ and will empower us to be agents of reconciliation in our increasingly diverse and divided world." This study will help us continue to grow in our Catholic response to racism as individuals and as a community. Invite someone you love and register today. Courses are available in-person and online, Sundays and Tuesdays beginning the week of January 15th. Click the link below to find out more and register:
