Community support makes a huge difference when facing hardships and life transitions such as illness, cancer treatments, natural disasters, caring for elderly parents or having a new baby. As a parish, we can support each other through these hardships.
The Nourish Meal Train Program provides meals and groceries to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton families facing hardships such as natural disasters, military deployment and medical events.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton families facing hardships can nominate themselves, or be nominated by others to be blessed with groceries and meals from our ministers by submitting the Nourish Meal Train Nomination Form.
Once the Nomination Form is received, the Nourish Coordinator will contact the family and interview them to ensure they are interested and eligible to receive Nourish Meal Train assistance.
Once a family is confirmed as a participant, ministers donate their time buying and delivering groceries and/or preparing and delivering meals. Volunteers must be registered as Nourish Ministers and must complete the steps required to participate. To become a Nourish Minister, fill out the Nourish Volunteer Form.
If you have any questions regarding the Nourish Meal Train Program, please contact the Nourish Program Coordinators by email at [email protected].
