Pick up a rice bowl when you are at Mass and "give" throughout Lent.  You can return the rice bowl at the conclusion of Lent to the parish office. 

If you would like to write a check or put it in the offertory, just make sure to label it CRS Rice Bowl so it gets to the right place!  Thank you for your generosity!

During Lent, make it a habit to visit the Blessed Sacrament weekly during Adoration. Stop in Mondays from NOON to 8 PM. Spend 5 minutes or a full hour!

Join us in the church every Friday at 6 PM for an in-person Stations of the Cross.

Reconciliation Services 

Lent is a time of repentance. According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Catholics are obligated to confess serious sins at least once a year. You're invited to participate in this beautiful sacrament of forgiveness, mercy, and grace.

The following are the Lenten reconciliation services happening in the area:

 

• March 30th - 6:30 PM at St. Jude, Cedar Rapids, communal penance with individual confessions
• April 1st - 9:00 AM at St. John XXIII, Cedar Rapids, communal penance with individual confessions
• Individual confessions are also available at Immaculate Conception, Cedar Rapids, Monday through Friday from 11 to noon

You can always contact Father Gary to set up an individual reconciliation.
