Council 15921 is affiliated with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Hiawatha, IA. The council was formed on March 29th, 2014. It is named for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton who started the Catholic schools system in America, and is also the patron saint of our parish. The Venerable Fr. Sammuel Mazzucchelli was a missionary priest who helped bring the Church to the Iowa-Wisconsin-Illinois tri-state area. He founded a number of parishes and built a number of churches in the area with little help and virtually no money.
The annual $500 Scholarship Award Program application process starts every year on January 1st, with the application, personal essay, and letter of recommendation due by March 1st.
The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who is a member of the parish. The recipient will be recognized during the senior Mass celebrated for the graduating class.
