One of the newer ministries at Bridgehaven is the Take Heart program. This program is designed to walk alongside families facing miscarriage, infant loss, or a life-limiting prenatal diagnosis. Aside from providing people and families with tangible resources and referrals, one of the cornerstones of this unique ministry is our volunteer advocates. Advocates are individuals who have walked this difficult path of grief and healing and are willing to open their hearts to come alongside other women and families facing such unimaginable circumstances.
The program is growing, and we’re seeing an increased need for advocates. We’d like you to prayerfully consider who in your congregation, or sphere of influence, might be a good fit for an advocate. Using the button below, you will find details encompassing what it means to be an advocate and how to take the next steps.
While the Take Heart program is a unique extension of the ministry of Bridgehaven, it honors the very core of our beliefs: that every life, no matter what, is precious and sanctified because of the One who created it. We appreciate your prayerful consideration of this and your help in spreading the word and awareness of this important need in our community. Please email [email protected] with questions.
