Our life as disciples doesn't exist only within the walls of our church. We receive information from many community organizations that provide opportunities to Pray, Learn, Share and Witness.
The mid-October Mt. Calvary Cemetery Fall Cleanup is around the corner. If you have any floral tributes, decorations, or other items around your loved one’s gravesites, please remove them by Friday, Oct. 13th. The cemetery will be completely cleared of all decorations starting Saturday morning, Oct. 14th. In-ground vases will be turned down into their storage positions until spring usage. After Nov. 15th, holiday wreaths, mounds, and evergreen blankets may be placed and will remain until the spring clean-up in March 2024. If you have questions, please call Mt. Calvary Cemetery @ 319-362-4659.
If you would like to volunteer your time for this Corporal Work of Mercy, we will be starting our clean-up at 8 AM on Saturday, Oct. 14th. The location is 375 32nd St. Drive, SE, Cedar Rapids.
