The Xavier Catholic Schools Foundation is thrilled to announce that, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our parishes and donors, the Xavier Impact Fund has successfully exceeded its million-dollar goal to enhance teacher salaries at our Xavier Catholic Schools! This monumental achievement underscores the commitment of this community to supporting Catholic education and ensuring our teachers receive the recognition and compensation they deserve.
As a direct result of your contributions to the Xavier Impact Fund, our 200+ Xavier Catholic School teachers have received a 6% increase in salary over the past two school years. This brings teacher salaries to 91% of their public school counterparts, a critical step in retaining talented and dedicated educators at record levels for the upcoming academic year. Your support is instrumental in empowering teachers to continue their essential work of nurturing and inspiring the total person in a Catholic environment.
Thank you for your incredible generosity and for making a lasting impact on our Xavier Catholic Schools and community.

A task force, made up of priests and Catholic school leaders, was created to study the possible ways to expand sharing among the schools up to and including the governance structure by answering the question, "Is it in the long-term best interest of parishes and Catholic education in the metro area for Catholic schools to remain independent?"
The task force's charge and scope of work was to provide a report to the Parish Councils, School Boards, and the Foundation Board by the spring of 2023 with possible recommendations for local consideration.
The Cedar Rapids Metro Task Force Leadership Team shared a decision regarding the Cedar Rapids Metro Task Force recommendation of systemization and the Middle School Exploratory Study Committee recommendation of consolidation. Please click the link below for more information about the decision.
