Adults and children who are not infants (i.e. seven years old and up) typically go through the process of RCIA to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Baptism. For information abour RCIA contact Trish Lokmer, tlokmer@seasp.org.

Congratulations on the birth of your child!  We are so excited that you have chosen to have your child baptized in our parish community.  Baptism is the first step in the journey as a Catholic Christian.

Baptisms are done during and outside of Mass on available Saturdays & Sundays.    

Baptismal Preparation: 

For families with new arrivals, we offer Zoom sessions for baptism preparation every other month on the following
Sundays from 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM:   

• If this is your first baby, please register for an online Zoom session using the link below.  Once you have registered, Jill Sires will send you the link for the Zoom session. 

• After completing the preparation Zoom session, please call Kathy Lester: at 319-393-3778 in the parish office to schedule the actual baptism for your baby.
